To all that took part in the Basford 5th Kyu grading day on Friday 09/12/2011 congratulations and well done on your new grade!!

SATURDAY 29th AND SUNDAY 30th OCTOBER 2011

Sensei's and students from Zen judo clubs all over the UK joined Sensei's from other martial arts to have a fun weekend of learning where everyone got the chance to sample the many martial arts available.

Our very own Sensei Keith Harby receiving three Dan grade's from the International World Street Combat Systems Organisation.
Sensei Keith received his existing grades of 4th Dan Judo, 2nd Dan Wing Chun and 2nd Dan Thai kick boxing, Also lifetime membership of the organisation.

Its with great sadness we say farewell to Sensei Graham Padget, he will no longer be running the Basford branch of the British Zen judo family. We thank him for all he has given us over the past years, passing his knowledge and experience onto his pupils.

Sensei Keith Harby 4th Dan BZJFA will be taking over from Sensei Graham from Friday 14 of October 2011. We all look forward to working closely with Sensei Keith.
We all thank Sensei Keith in advance for giving his time, experience and knowledge to make us all better Judoka.
